IMPLOSION

Anamorphic crystals veil a propitious
blue-green bokeh.

Chartreuse, cyan, corrode, dissipate,
dissolve into ashen depths.

My blood chants hymns to darkness,
prayers in cruel limbo.

Picoseconds of lucid calm punctuate
the dim silence;
alas, the golden sweven departs.

Mystical shards, sacred petroglyphs,
mirror my soul's past gnosis.

Fragmented memories of innocence
shimmer, atomise, evanesce.

My solar plexus, dense with desolation,
holds the exiles of a thousand lives.

Eldritch greyness diffuses a splendid
tumult, desecrates hope.

Shadows of trespass contemplated
cant their siren call.

Rage of demons too long confined
strains life's silver strand.

Centripetal bolts, jagged splinters
streak thro' struggling sinews.

Acrid fumes effuse from dark marrow,
wreaths of blackness seep
through cells, shatter
familiar constructs.

Pewter arrows perforate my body,
my entreaties the Grim Reaper
will not heed, shockwaves
unravel this anima

black hole
