KINGCUP
Cease the pageantry of Spring's heralds,
the gasconade of Summer's gaiety!
the gasconade of Summer's gaiety!
A glorious rebirth lies buried in the ooze
of marshes; Nature now prepares
her path for earthly Angels.
In the damp dark, hidden forces unite in
silent deference. Wings of delicate
green burst through grey scum, promise
raised into Life with yearning gazes
toward yonder golden orb.
Anon, a cluster of tiny buds leaps into the
brightness, longing to bask in the
smiles of our celestial progenitor, of him,
whose path and purpose are Light,
whose praise the soul sings.
Golden visions emerge, burnished patens
radiant as an epiphany, noble as the
heart's speech, preceptors of quiet grace.
Summer's gentlest minstrels shall
extol Earth through Lammas.
